Terms and conditions

Intellectual Property
The intellectual property rights over the content (represented by logos, graphics, trademarks, images, videos, text, as well as the general appearance of the website) and materials related to the Event belong to S.R.O.H.P. Participants in the Event, as well as visitors to the website, are prohibited from copying, altering, modifying, storing, publishing, transferring, selling, or distributing the content presented on the site for commercial purposes. The retrieval, reproduction, or use of the content available on the site or materials related to the Event without the prior written and express consent of S.R.O.H.P. constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and falls under the incidence of Law No. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.

Image Use/Assignment of Rights
For the purpose of conducting promotional and medical education campaigns, the Organizers require the assignment by the participant of their proprietary rights and related rights over their image, as well as the participant's consent that any intellectual property rights and ownership rights over materials and data resulting from the creation of video recordings, photographs, or online broadcasts will remain the property of the Organizers. In this regard, by registering for the Event and checking the agreement options concerning S.R.O.H.P. policies, the participant gives their express and unequivocal consent for the assignment of their proprietary rights and related rights over their image. Furthermore, the participant gives their express consent for the assignment of their proprietary rights and related rights over their image to the Organizers for the promotion of the Event through any means chosen by them (publications, brochures, mass media, social media, Organizer's website, scientific society's website, Event website, internet, etc.) without requiring any further prior or subsequent authorization from them. The assignment of rights resulting from the participant's image is made free of charge, and the term of the assignment is unlimited. Additionally, by registering and participating in the Event, the participant acknowledges and agrees that any potential images/photos/video recordings of their person taken by the organizers during the Event, whether held physically or online, may be broadcast during the Event and used later for the purpose of promoting the Event. In this regard, any video recordings, live broadcasts, photos of their person, or other such information delivered during the Event related to their image, etc., will remain the property of the organizers and may be used by them in accordance with the purpose expressed by this agreement. Thus, any intellectual property rights and ownership rights over materials and data resulting from the creation of video recordings, photographs, or online broadcasts will remain the property of the rightful owner, respectively the property of the organizers. If the participant refuses the processing of the personal data mentioned above, considering the mandatory nature of these for the conduct of the Event, the refusal will entitle the Organizers to restrict access to the Event.

Limitation of Liability
The Organizers and S.R.O.H.P. cannot be held liable for any losses, injuries, or material damages recorded during the Event, regardless of their cause, provided that they are not the result of fault on the part of the Organizers or S.R.O.H.P. If, for reasons beyond the control and capacity of the Organizers or that cannot be controlled (pandemics, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, wars, strikes, legal restrictions, power outages, or internet connection interruptions during the event), the period or place of the Event is modified, the scientific program is changed, or the Event is canceled, the Organizers commit to rescheduling, to the extent possible, any announced action or to finding another location, but cannot be held liable for the costs, damages, or additional expenses incurred by registered participants. If, for various objective, justified reasons, and with prior written notice to the participants, the Organizers decide to make changes to the announced structure of the Event (including any organizational details), they will not be responsible for transport, accommodation, or any other costs already incurred by the participants. The Organizers may at any time establish other rules and regulations (with immediate effect) regarding any aspect of the Event, aimed at organizing the Event under the best conditions. In this regard, registered participants are obliged to comply with and adhere to them. Any additions/modifications regarding the organization of the Event will be promptly communicated to the participants.

Fees and Payments
Payment of the applicable fee for the Event is due upon registration. If such payment is insufficient or refused for any reason, Eventrium may deny you access to the Event. Fees may be subject to value-added tax, which, if applicable, will be charged in addition to the fees. S.R.O.H.P. collects fees through a third-party online payment processor and does not store card data but retains unique and anonymized payment identifiers.
