Account Creation: For the purpose mentioned above, you are requested to fill in the fields provided in this application with the following data: name and surname, address, CNP (Personal Numerical Code), email, mobile phone, profession, workplace and its address including phone, specialty, professional grade, stamp code, Unique Medical Identification Code.
Content Provided by Users: The functionalities of the Platform might allow, in some sections and in certain situations, users to post comments. If you choose to publish your comments on the Platform, you are subject to the following usage rules:
- Comments and questions will be made visible to other platform users after moderation by the site administrators.
- At the time of publication, your comment/question will be visibly marked with your name (as filled out in the comment submission form).
- After publication by the moderator, comments/questions can only be modified/deleted under certain conditions, and for this purpose, you need to contact the SROHP team using the contact form available on the website.
- Comments are moderated within a period of up to 72 working hours from their submission.
- Your comment and any other personal data provided in this context may be reported as pharmacovigilance incidents.
- If a response to a comment/question is provided by a doctor, this will be indicated.
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all authors of comments/questions are considered to be doctors.
- It is strictly forbidden to post messages or pictures with harmful, threatening, misleading, defamatory, resentful, aggressive, racist, vulgar, denigrating, indecent, insulting, violent, obscene, or pornographic content.
- Violation of the comment/question posting policy on the site will result in the permanent blocking of the respective user from using comments, even from the first violation.
- If you decide to post information in the comments that are not from your own experiences, you must clearly indicate the source of the information.
- Any communication from users (other than personal information), covered by confidentiality, is treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Thus, if those accessing the documents on this site intervene with questions, comments, etc. regarding the content of a material, this information will be considered non-confidential and the owner of this site will have no obligation regarding this information, having the freedom to reproduce/use publicly and distribute it.
Content Provided by Users for Submitting Papers at the Conferences and Congresses of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology: The functionalities of the Platform allow for the registration of papers within the events of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology. If you choose to register these papers on the Platform, you are subject to the following usage rules:
Direct Communication: If you register one or more papers electronically, including through the site, the ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY will obtain additional information such as name, email address, phone number, communication content, attachments, or other information you choose to provide to us.
Data Regarding Registered Papers: All data you register regarding papers will become the property of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology. The ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY will recognize the copyright of all persons specified as authors, co-authors. The collection of this data is for evaluating the papers. If you provide personal data of other persons during the registration of papers, you are responsible for obtaining their permission for this registration. For paper registration, the following data are collected: name, surname, professional grade, email, phone number, academic title, quality of the registrant, other authors (for whom the same data is collected), summary in Romanian, and summary in English of the paper.

The collection of this email address for unregistered users is used for subsequent contact on issues we were asked about or for other purposes permitted by law and explicitly mentioned in this section of Terms and Conditions.

- To improve, personalize, and expand services.
- To understand and analyze how you use the services.
- To develop new products and services.
- To communicate with you about news, services, or for marketing and promotion purposes.
- Sending push messages and notifications.
- Evaluation of papers within the events of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology.
- Identifying fraud attempts, especially online exam fraud.
- To ensure compliance with the terms and conditions or other legal rights or in accordance with laws or at the request of government agencies or judges.
In addition to the above, we process personal data for the development of our services, to provide contact persons with information about us and our range of services and facilities. Of course, we also use them to provide personal data to members of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology team and WWW.SROHP.RO for the provision of contracted services and the offering of new services and facilities, as well as to honor promises made and (non-contractual) commitments undertaken.

We send invitations to scientific events organized by the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology and affiliated societies or those traditionally collaborating with us.
We send information to medical professional bodies regarding the participation of doctors in events organized by the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology and its partners, accessing documentation resources, and using personal data without which awarding professional training points for doctors would be impossible.

We process personal data of contacts based on consent, a contract concluded with us, or fair practices, as well as for executing our legal obligations.

We will retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes of processing, and, of course, according to legal or contractual requirements. In the absence of such requirements, the retention period for records and supporting documents for services should not exceed 10 years.

Our security measures, both technical and organizational, protect our information, contact information, personal data, and other important data. We continuously focus on detecting, investigating, and resolving security threats. We allocate significant logistical and financial resources for this purpose.

Special Situations
Registered Users
Registered users are those with access credentials (login) on WWW.SROHP.RO and/or its subdomains. Registered users are persons with whom we have contractual relationships, persons acting on behalf of those we have contractual relationships with, or persons who have gained access permissions over time. After our relationships end, we delete the accounts and the personal information contained therein.
Photo-Video
The images of professionals we display come from them or illustrate public events they participated in.
Facebook Pages
Since the administrator of a Facebook fan page, together with Facebook, acts as a controller processing visitor data, the WWW.SROHP.RO privacy policy applies to our administered Facebook pages, even though we do not have access to cookies used by Facebook and do not know the identity of individuals accessing our Facebook pages without logging into Facebook. Therefore, we inform you of your rights as data subjects not logged into Facebook and request that if you do not want Facebook to install cookies on your computers, you disable these technical elements in your browser. Contact Regarding Personal Data
Since we do not monitor your personal data on a large scale or systematically, and personal data processing operations are not our main activity, appointing a DPO is not necessary. However, for any requests, complaints, suggestions, or observations regarding personal data protection, please use the email address office@srohp.ro or any other convenient contact method.
